VitalSource Bookshelf+ Wins Campus Technology Product of the Year Award

RALEIGH, NC – VitalSource®, the network technology behind digital learning tool delivery across higher education, has won Product of the Year, AI-Based Tool for Tutoring, from Campus Technology’s 2025 Product of the Year Awards for its recently released capability, Bookshelf+. Launched in September, Bookshelf+ is an AI-powered tool that provides study support with responses rooted exclusively in the instructor-assigned content, ensuring an accurate, efficient and effective learning and studying experience.  

Students access the AI-tutor directly through the Bookshelf platform, where they can ask questions, break down complex concepts, compare key terms, generate flashcards, hear a passage read aloud in a natural, human voice, or study in their preferred language. Backed by learning science research, the study software encourages meaningful student engagement. 

Since its release in September on publisher-approved titles, Bookshelf+ has surpassed 1 million student interactions.
